Cool-Tube is designed to protect wiring, fuel lines, brake lines and other areas from extreme heat (up to 500 degrees F). Manufactured from convoluted NYLON 6 tubing "NO PLASTIC" and covered with an aluminized fiberglass fabric, Cool-Tube combines flexibility with maximum thermal protection. The aluminized covering provides heat reflectivity, reducing temperatures an average of 43 percent and resists abrasion, chemicals and condensation.
